Brief Biography
Rickie Nishi was born in Japan, but has since lived in
North America for 30+ years.
She began painting more than two decades ago while
simultaneously involved with floral arrangement.
Under the instruction of Uwe Geïsler, a Mëssen painter,
she has studied for over a decade.
She currently travels worldwide for seminars,
as well as teaching at her home studio in Atlanta, Georgia.
Life as an Artist
Rickie Nishi opend the doors to her home
to teach painting classes while in California,
where she resided until mid-1997.
Now in Atlanta, she holds classes twice a week at
her home studio while teaching at
Kennesaw State University's Continuing Education Department.
Nickie specilizes in European style china painting,
as well as Noritake and Imari styles of Japanese painting.
Painting Orders
Rickie Nishi takes custom orders by clients,
in painting tiles and kitchen sinks.

Accreditations
Uwe Geïssler
Mr.Geïssler has worked in the world famous porcelain manufacturer of
Meïssen,
and since has become a freelance artist and bookwriter.
He teaches seminars, as well as painting individual items on demand.
Rickie Nishi has been accredited as Certified Painter under
Mr. Uwe Geïssler's instructions.
The World Organization of China
Painters (WOCP)
Active member since 1999, Rickie Nishi has since been named
"Accredited Teacher" in the State of Georgia and has become
Southeast Regional Officer of the WOCP.
